Description
Mylar is the glossy finish on a button. Mylar allows you to use low cost standard white paper when making buttons and then covers over your artwork with a glossy finish making your pin-back buttons durable and weatherproof. Mylar comes in a pre-cut size to match your button maker exactly.
This mylar is the NON standard 2 mil mylar. This is used for non-standard applications or for certain types of button makers. For example if you have a Macaron button maker or if you are using photo paper that is thicker than normal you can use 2 ml mylar so 2 mil mylar can be good for Photo Buttons.
If you have a standard button maker like a tecre button maker it will mostly use 3 mil mylar. Link to 3 ml mylar (Standard). If in doubt ask the Button Guy.
